Fridays in the Park are BACK (mostly) Due
to popular demand, our "Fridays in the park" will be held every Friday - weather permitting. Use your judgement.
Just as in the summer, please bring whatever seems appropriate. Remember, it will often be cloudy, windy and damp, but dog
people are tough.
It begins about 5:00 PM, but beginning March
18 ~ 5:30.

magazine says, "Don't miss Friday Nights in the Park."Martin in the UK says, "I
had a a press release from the Dog Fancy about dog parks. I was curious and had a look. Your park looked by far the more interesting
and fun. If I didn't live in Britain and instead lived in Marin County, and owned a dog, I like to think we'd spend as much
time as possible with you good folks at Mill Valley Dog Park. Have a good party on Friday! That sounds great! I think I'd
bring some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (chilled, of course) and some cheese."
The Fridays in the Park event has returned.
Last Friday (3/19) turned out to be one of the best ever. It started with ominous wind threatening to blow it away,
but after a short while, the wind stopped and the weather turned downright balmy. About 50 people and countless dogs appeared,
the food was fabulous and the good feelings were pervasive. It really set the standard for this season. To make it even better,
about 10 new dogs (and their persons) joined and were so excited to be there. Remember, it's still March and we can't count
on balmyness (sp?) every Friday, but we can count on good feelings. |
