Red Chow is a super sweet female purebred
Chow found in the streets. Red Chow gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids, etc. She is house trained and
would make a perfect family dog.
She is beyond URGENT! Cass can not keep her beyond one week because of
her landlord. If you can help by fostering or securing a safe place for her to go please contact karl@chowsplus.org / 530-277-0476 and Cass listed below. She is a nice mellow dog
that would be excellent companion in a family home with other animals and small children.

Rat Terrier Puppy Looking for a home
(July 9, 2010) We are looking for a home for our full-breed male Rat Terrier puppy. He is
six weeks old. He has beautiful markings: black, white with some brown above his eyes, and two brown (matching) spots
on his cheeks. He is absolutely adorable. He is very mellow and is just learning how to run and play. We
already found nice home for our female brown and white puppy.
Rat Terriers are terrifi
c dogs, they are extremely smart and love children. They love to snuggle and cuddle. They are not a high maintenance
breed with a lot of energy like their Jack Russel cousins. They can be left alone during the day, and can sleep all day long
until you come home. This puppy will probably not get any heavier than 20 pounds. If you or know of anyone
who might be interested, please forward this email to them.

June 28, 2010 Hi Everyone,
A puppy has 'adopted' Harry down at the ranch in Visalia and if no one
claims her by tomorrow morning he's bringing her back to Marin. She just appeared a couple of days ago in the orchard and
has stayed. A lot of people 'dump' their animals down there in orchards...many he has adopted. His guess is that it's approx.
3-4 mos. (still in that uncoordinated stage), seems to have been well-fed and taken care of (though no collar), short brown
hair (sorry, no photos yet), has big paws so will most likely be about Atie's size but more solid. Harry has a good intuition
about dogs and says she's "definitely a keeper". Says she's extremely sweet & loving, no signs of physical or
emotional abuse, and when he went off to do errands that first day she didn't follow him but just waited at the house to greet
them when they returned. Atie is in love with her and they play wonderfully together. However...we are not able to take on
another dog. Together with our neighbor Claire (who fosters dogs), we are willing to (at least try to) care for her until
she finds a good home, as opposed to taking her to a shelter.
SO...if any of you know of anyone who may want a loving puppy who is at the perfect age to be trained, please let us know.
And pass the word around! By the way, I've named her....Visalia...
